[Login.gov] Setup Guide for Login.gov with Thetis FIDO2 Security Key
In recent days, more federal accounts—such as Social Security accounts secured by Login.gov—have begun supporting FIDO2 security keys. This added support allows you to enhance your account's protection with strong, phishing-resistant authentication.
How to Add the Thetis FIDO2 Security Key to Login.gov:

Visit login.gov and click "Sign in with Login.gov" in the top right corner.

Sign in using your email address and password.

On your dashboard, under "Your authentication methods", click "Add security key."

Follow the on-screen instructions:

Enter a nickname for your security key

Insert the Thetis FIDO2 Security Key into your device

Click "Set up your security key"

With setup complete, your Login.gov account is now protected by your FIDO2 Security Key for enhanced security.
